We live in an age of exponential technological growth. It would’ve been insane to assume that every one will have a computer in their pocket just ten years ago, that every one will have access to the World Wide Web just 20 years ago. As a result, the world of not just journalism, but media had transformed in ways we never thought was possible.
My name is Alec Cheung, a Northeastern University senior studying Journalism and Political Science. This blog is dedicated to documenting the change technology will bring to media in the future. It will serve as a directive for the future and warning for the past, in the hopes that journalists and media groups will not make the mistake of neglecting the importance of technology as they did before.
Some of the topics that will be covered includes Virtual and Augmented Reality, as well as the future of other informational platforms.
